Professor Alexander Solovev has held positions at globally recognized institutions, including Fudan University (ranked #50 globally), Harvard University (ranked #1), University of Toronto (ranked #21), Technical University of Munich (ranked #37), and the Max Planck Institute (#1 Research Institute in Europe). He holds the Australian Global Talent Visa, which grants permanent residency to exceptionally talented and prominent individuals with an internationally recognized record of exceptional and outstanding achievement. His accolades include the 'Outstanding Graduate Students' Supervisor' Award within the "Top 10 groups" at Fudan University, the Emerging Leader Award from IOP Science Publishing, the prestigious '1000 Talent' Award from China, the 'Dawn Program' Award from Shanghai City, as well as Humboldt Feodor Lynen, Max Planck, and University of Toronto Fellowships. Additionally, he has received the DSM Science and Technology Award from Switzerland, Dechema Honorable mention, and the STIBET DAAD prize, among others. Significantly, he holds a Guinness World Record in nanotechnology for developing 'the Smallest Man-Made Jet Engine,' which has marked a pivotal moment in the advancement of man-made nanomachines. Professor Solovev's research interests include nanomembranes, nanomachines, microfluidics, droplets and capsules, clean energy, and bio-applications. He has an extensive publication record of over 80 journal articles, a citation record exceeding 5900, and a Hirsch Index of 29. Several of his papers have been cited over 700 times, reflecting the significant impact of his research.
