Global Principal Investigator (PI) Program — Overview
The NanoTRIZ Innovation Institute (Australia) invites distinguished scholars to join our decentralized research network. We provide digital infrastructure and AI resources that support remote supervision of Fellows and scalable, high-impact project teams—without the need to relocate.
Appointment Structure
Role: Principal Investigator / Scientific Lead (External)
Status: External advisory appointment (independent)
Institution: NanoTRIZ Innovation Institute (ABN: 60 349 600 938)
Nature of engagement: Flexible, remote advisorship designed to complement (not replace) your primary academic role, subject to your institution’s OPA/COI/IP policies.
Key Benefits
Reduced administrative load: We support Fellow recruitment workflows, onboarding documentation, and project infrastructure for distributed teams.
Clear project boundaries (“Clean Break”): Projects are structured to support clear separation of NanoTRIZ project artifacts and IP, subject to your university’s IP/OPA/COI obligations and required disclosures.
Outcome-based upside: Where applicable, PIs may participate in consultancy fees and/or outcome-linked revenue share under separate written agreements (variable; not guaranteed).
Compliance & Disclosure
NanoTRIZ supports transparent collaboration. Appointed PIs can request an Institutional Disclosure Kit to help register this role with their primary institution as an external advisory/visiting appointment, where required.
Participation Notes
PIs may recommend exceptional candidates for the Global Research Fellowship. Applicants should list you as their preferred supervisor in their application (where applicable).
If you identify engineering talent suitable for collaborative tool-building or venture projects, you may refer them to the Venture Fellowship application portal.
