Additional Information about Fellowship

VALUE & RECOGNITION OF THE FELLOWSHIP
The value of a NanoTRIZ Fellowship is grounded in high-level peer recognition. As an independent private institute, the prestige of our titles is derived directly from the academic standing of our leadership. An appointment signed by Professor Alexander Solovev—an Australian Global Talent with a distinguished track record at top-tier universities (Harvard, Max Planck, Fudan)—serves as a validation of your expertise by a recognized authority in the field.

KEY BENEFITS FOR GLOBAL FELLOWS

  • Official Designation: You are authorized to use the title "Research Fellow, NanoTRIZ Innovation Institute (Australia)" on your CV, LinkedIn, and professional bio.

  • Career Acceleration: Affiliation with an Australian research entity acts as a strong quality signal, validating your ability to work within Western research governance frameworks.

  • Professional Endorsement: For those building a portfolio for global mobility (such as the Global Talent Visa), a formal appointment and recommendation from a recognized Australian research leader serves as verifiable evidence of professional prominence.

    • (Note: NanoTRIZ is a research institute, not a migration agency. We validate research capability; we do not provide immigration advice or guarantee visa outcomes.)

IMPACT BY CAREER STAGE
Our fellowship provides a strategic advantage at every step of the academic and professional ladder:

  • For Senior High School Students: Distinguish yourself for admission to elite universities. Participation demonstrates advanced analytical skills and research potential far beyond the standard school curriculum, proving readiness for higher education.

  • For Undergraduate (Bachelor) Students: Bridge the gap between textbook theory and real-world science. You will build a research portfolio and gain a "Research Fellow" title that differentiates you from thousands of peers when applying for internships or Master’s programs.

  • For Master’s Students: Transition from student to published author. We help you identify high-impact topics and master AI-driven research methodologies, significantly strengthening your applications for PhD positions or R&D roles in industry.

  • For PhD Candidates: Gain an external perspective to overcome research bottlenecks. Our TRIZ-based methodology helps you solve contradictions in your thesis, while the fellowship expands your network beyond your local university.

  • For Postdocs & Professionals: Establish your independence. Use the institute as a platform to lead your own research group as a Principal Investigator, strengthen your "Global Talent" profile, and build a leadership track record outside of traditional tenure-track constraints.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The NanoTRIZ Global Research Fellowship is a selective, fully remote research program designed for high-potential applicants who aim to build tangible research capability. Unlike traditional passive courses, this is a production-oriented environment. We combine project-based learning with advanced scientific meta-skills—leveraging ethical AI workflows to map gaps, structure evidence, and produce measurable work.

  • Status: Independent Research Institute (Australian ABN/ASIC registered). Not a university; no academic degrees awarded.

  • Format: 100% Remote | Asynchronous with milestone tracking.

FINANCIAL MODEL: MERIT SCHOLARSHIP & ACCESS

We operate on a "Tool-Access" model, not a traditional "Tuition" model. Our goal is to remove financial barriers to high-level research while sustaining the advanced digital infrastructure required for AI-driven discovery.

  • Total Fellowship Value: The standard tuition and mentorship package is valued at $2,500 AUD.

  • Merit Scholarship (Tuition Waiver): For all admitted Research Fellows, this educational tuition cost is 100% waived. You do not pay for the Professor's time or the curriculum.

FELLOWSHIP COST STRUCTURE

  • Total Cost to Fellow: $40 USD / month

  • What this covers: This is a mandatory Platform Access Fee. It is a direct pass-through cost that funds your cloud infrastructure, your personal AI Research Cabinet, and workspace maintenance for the duration of the program.

  • Exceptions: Venture Fellows (Technical Co-Founder Track) and Industry-Sponsored Fellows are exempt from this fee.

NO HIDDEN FEES The Platform Access Fee is strictly for digital infrastructure and tooling. It is not a publication fee, not an authorship fee, and not a "pay-for-recommendation" scheme.

THE EXPERIENCE: WORK LIKE A LAB
Fellows do not just "study"—they operate similarly to junior researchers in a distributed scientific group.

  • AI-Augmented Workflows: Access self-paced modules on ethical AI tools, reproducible data analysis, and citation landscaping.

  • Real Artifacts: Every module ends with a deliverable—improving a literature map, drafting a methods section, or preparing a conference abstract.

  • Supervision: Work under the guidance of domain experts and track leaders to build cross-disciplinary strength.

SELECTION CRITERIA: WHO SHOULD APPLY
Admission is merit-based. We do not judge solely by grades; we look for execution capability.

  • Evidence: We review CVs, GitHub/portfolios, and prior writing.

  • Readiness: Applicants must demonstrate a realistic 6–12 month plan with 2–4 concrete target outputs.

  • Integrity: Misrepresentation of credentials or authorship history will lead to immediate disqualification.

ETHICS & OUTCOMES

  • Research Integrity: We enforce strict standards. No fabricated data. No "AI-ghostwriting" (AI is a tool, not an author).

  • Certification: Upon successful completion, Fellows receive an official Certificate of Fellowship. Outstanding performance may earn a verified, detailed reference letter reflecting actual contributions.

DISCLAIMER: Participation does not guarantee publication in SciViD or partner journals. Authorship is earned solely through documented intellectual contribution in accordance with international academic standards (ICMJE/COPE).
The NanoTRIZ Innovation Institute operates according to the highest academic standards of research integrity. While our programs are designed to significantly enhance a researcher's portfolio, we explicitly state that a Fellowship does not guarantee admission or scholarships to other universities or educational institutions. Securing such future outcomes remains the sole responsibility of the participants and depends entirely on their own talent, skills, and eagerness to achieve results.

VENTURE FELLOW TRACK (Tuition-Free | Co-Founder Stream)

Designed for: Technical architects, full-stack engineers, and AI prototypers. This is a high-intensity "Builder" track for those who want to co-create the Institute’s deep-tech tools and internal architecture.

  • Admission: Highly selective. Requires demonstrated proficiency in coding (e.g., Python, AI stacks) or rapid prototyping.

  • The Model (Venture Studio): Zero Tuition Fees. You are appointed under a scholarship/fee-exempt status. Instead of paying fees, you operate under a Venture Builder model: technical contribution is exchanged for access to Institute resources and potential commercial upside, strictly within a non-employment collaboration framework.

  • IP & Investor Readiness: To ensure projects are viable for external funding, all Project IP created during the fellowship is assigned to the Institute immediately upon creation. This creates the "clean" IP chain of title required by venture capital investors.

  • Commercial Outcome: If a tool achieves market fit and the Institute forms a spin-off entity:

    • Leadership: The primary builder receives "Right of First Consideration" for technical leadership roles (e.g., Co-Founder, CTO, or Lead Engineer), subject to capability fit.

    • Equity: Founders equity or stock options may be offered under a separate shareholder agreement, typically subject to standard vesting and cliffs.

  • Academic Outcome: If the project remains an internal research tool (and is not spun off), you retain portfolio rights to showcase the work (subject to confidentiality) and may receive co-authorship on methodology papers.

FELLOWSHIP ACCESS & PRICING Research + Industry Pathway

FELLOWSHIP ACCESS & PRICING
Research + Industry Pathway NanoTRIZ runs a selective, methodology-first Research Fellowship for those who want to build real research capability through milestone-driven projects, ethical AI workflows, and reproducible standards—not passive courses.

WHY AN INFRASTRUCTURE FEE?
$40/month (Platform & Supervision) The Research Fellowship fee is not payment for a degree, and it is not "pay-to-publish." It is a Platform Access Fee that supports the digital infrastructure required for serious research execution:

  • Workflow Access: Dashboards, research templates, and structured project tracks.

  • Review Cycles: Regular feedback on evidence maps, notebooks, and technical reports.

  • TRIZ + AI Workflows: Contradiction analysis and evidence mapping tools (pilot access may apply).

  • Reproducibility Standards: Baselines, documentation discipline, and defensible claims.

(Note: Venture Fellows and Sponsored Industry Fellows are exempt from infrastructure fees).
If you are looking for a traditional course certificate or a government-accredited degree, NanoTRIZ is not the right fit. Our focus is evidence-based execution and transfer-ready technical outputs.

PARTICIPATION TRACKS
Choose your level of engagement.

1) RESEARCH FELLOW TRACK ($40 USD / month) The core fellowship: structured skill-building through real work.

    • Commercial: If the tool scales, you gain "Right of First Consideration" for leadership roles or founder equity (subject to vesting).

    • Academic: If it remains an internal research tool, you gain co-authorship on methodology papers.

3) INDUSTRY PROJECT FELLOW (Merit-Based | Sponsored) Real constraints. Real deliverables. Funding-dependent. This track is reserved for top-performing Fellows who have demonstrated reliability and mastery of NanoTRIZ methods.

  • Admission: By invitation/selection only.

  • The Work: Fellows join teams solving specific industrial problems (requires NDA/IP assignment).

  • Sponsorship: When an industry partner funds a project, selected Fellows receive a Full Fee Waiver.

  • Awards: For funded commercial projects, Fellows may be eligible for Project Stipends or milestone-based contractor payments.

FROM "PAYING" TO "PAID"
The Career Acceleration Model NanoTRIZ does not guarantee employment. However, our model is designed to transition talent from "training" to "execution" as industry partnerships expand.

  1. Talent Pool: Fellows prove their skills in the Research Track (creating maps, reports, code).

  2. Selection: When NanoTRIZ secures an R&D contract, we select the best performers from the Fellowship pool for the project team.

  3. Sponsored Transition: Selected Fellows stop paying infrastructure fees and may begin receiving project-based remuneration (e.g., for benchmarked results, validated prototype pathways, or patent-ready disclosures).

WHO IS THIS FOR?
One integrity standard — different levels of scope.

  • Senior High School: Build structured research habits and reproducible thinking early.

  • Bachelor / Master: Build a portfolio of defensible outputs with supervised milestones.

  • PhD / Postdocs: Accelerate research planning, gap detection, and contradiction-driven invention pathways.
