Merit-Based Selection: Admission is competitive and based on evidence of skills, academic/professional merit, research potential, and interview/shortlisting where required.


Role Assignment (Important): Applicants may indicate a preferred entry tier; however, the final appointment level (e.g., Intern, Scholar, Fellow, Project Lead) is assigned by NanoTRIZ after review and may differ from the applicant’s preference to ensure accurate role placement.


Documentation Provided: Successful applicants receive an Appointment Letter / Certificate of Appointment stating role title and dates. Upon completion (subject to performance and deliverables), NanoTRIZ may issue a Contribution Letter / Reference Letter summarising verified outputs and contributions for CV/portfolio use.


No Guarantees of External Outcomes: NanoTRIZ is an independent program and is not a TEQSA-registered higher education provider and does not award AQF degrees or accredited higher-education qualifications. Participation does not guarantee university admission, external scholarships, financial aid, employment, or acceptance of manuscripts by peer-reviewed journals; all such outcomes remain subject to independent external review processes.


Evidence Flexibility (for early-stage applicants): If you do not yet have publications/patents, you may submit alternative evidence (portfolio, project report, poster, competition results, GitHub, writing sample, lab notes, or documented school/university projects).

  1. Non-accreditation and outcomesI understand NanoTRIZ is an independent, non-accredited program and does not award Australian degrees or accredited qualifications. I understand participation does not guarantee external outcomes (admissions, scholarships, funding, jobs, or journal acceptance).

  2. Merit-based selection and paymentsI understand selection and appointment level are evidence-based and competitive, and are not guaranteed by payment of any platform access fee (if applicable).

  3. Integrity and verificationI confirm my submission is my own work, properly cited, and not plagiarised. If shortlisted, I consent to reasonable verification of claims (education status, identity, authorship, and stated outputs).

  4. Ethical AI useI agree to ethical AI use. I will keep track of AI assistance and disclose it when requested. I understand NanoTRIZ may revoke appointment title/affiliation if misused or misrepresented.

  5. I understand that intellectual property generated solely by me remains mine, but I grant NanoTRIZ a non-exclusive right to display my work in the institute's portfolio/website.
